Cozy home, comfy life.

The word hygge comes from a Danish word meaning “to give courage, comfort, joy”. Whoa.

I have been looking for this word my whole life. And there are other words I love just as much. But I’ll pass on the snow 😉

Hygge took over our interiors and became part of our vocabulary in 2016 when the Danish word for 'feeling cosy' popped up just about everywhere. But there are four more warming lifestyle concepts which sum up those other winter feelings that you should get acquainted with, according to the experts at leading language learning app, Babbel. As with the much-loved Hygge, these words offer no direct translation to English, but are still wonderfully relatable. So, as the snow comes down, it's time to curl up in your favourite armchair with a cuppa and read about to how to stay snug in 2019...

Natalie Cornish, House Beautiful

Thank you, Natalie. Great article!

Now I want to share my “hygge” feelings with everyone.

But why did I start selling online? Simply put, retirement is coming. Maybe not in the next 10 years, but it is coming. Know what I mean?

I started with offering my art work on yoga clothes. I do still love the concept and I have not fully let the idea go (you can email me if you want to see my work), but maybe I was ahead of my time. Hey. Let a girl dream! However, these wonderful little things in my shop now, make everything around feel cozy. Not just my body. So, here we are.

I am looking forward to some traveling with my shop. I am unsure about a brick and mortar, but craft shows and the like are on my radar. My first show will be in Orlando in August 2021, and I am very excited! Actually, if you have any thoughts where I can find other shows to participate in, I would love that. 🙂

I hope to meet anyone who reads this!

Enjoy the feelings. And drop me a line if you have any questions!
